Building Tender Services Limited exists to try to make it easier for responsible subcontractors and merchants to find out about current building tenders available for pricing in the Auckland area.
By maintaining a regular contact with Main Contractors, Architects and Developers, we provide information on as many projects available for tender as possible. Anecdotal evidence suggests that we are involved in 90 - 95 % of tendered building projects.
We analyse the documents, identifying which of our customers' trades are included in the contract, and draft an information sheet that summarises the tender under headings such as:
1.Tender Close Date
2.Description of the work
3.Contract Period
4.Main Contractors Tendering
We proactively forward this information sheet to our customers if their trade is included in the tender. The information sheet is sent out as early as possible within the tender period, to give our customers maximum time to prepare a bid.
At our premises in Albany, Auckland, we operate a plan viewing room with plan printing and copying services available. This gives our customers the facility to view the full set of contract documents before deciding to price.
